Boro Under-11s do club proud on JPL finals day

Scarborough Athletic Under-11s put in two battling performances at the JPL finals day in Middlesex, but slipped to defeat in both of their games.
Massive credit must still go to the Boro lads, who charged through to the finals day, doing the club and the town proud.
In the first game Boro were edged out by Andover, who won the clash 2-1.
A nervy start gave Andover the upper hand, with Charlie Hughes' great strike giving Boro some consolation.
In the second game Boro lost 5-1 to eventual winners Alford FC.
Despite a delightful curling effort from Charlie Collings, it just wasn't meant to be for the Boro team, who still finished an impressive third out of the 31 teams taking part in the tournament.
