Let's Boost The Boro

Following the announcement of the curtailment of the 2020-21 Northern Premier League season, we are now able to confirm some details for season ticket holders.

Having only staged two home league fixtures in the 2020-21 season, our club, like so many others, were faced with a difficult period where careful financial management was key, especially amid the stop/start scenario up to the end of last year. With the benefit of several grant applications to various available funds, and much appreciated support from Scarborough Borough Council, we feel we are in a manageable financial situation as planning begins for the 2021-22 season.

Although nothing is certain at the moment, it does look like we will be able to accommodate all our supporters during both pre-season and competitive fixtures from July.

As season ticket holders only got to use their tickets for two games, the Board of Directors feel it is only fair that your existing ticket book will now be valid for the coming 2021-22 season.  We will initially be keeping the seating plan developed for social distancing requirements until new advice and regulations become available.

If it is allowable, we will return to the original seating plan we had for 2020-21 prior to the introduction of the social distancing requirements. All season ticket holders will receive a further communication once fixtures have been released, confirming arrangements for the new season.

The same applies to those who bought the 'seven ticket bundles'.  These tickets can be used for the corresponding fixtures next season.

We will also be taking new applications for both seated and standing season tickets.

Having already received several communications from supporters wishing to help the club by offering to pay again for their ticket, your board have decided that in light of this and the two fixtures played, that we will launch a donation fund which will be dedicated to Darren Kelly's playing budget to ensure his team will be competitive in our league next season.

A successful ‘Boost the Boro’ fund would guarantee that Darren will be able to maintain and hopefully add to the quality he needs in his squad.  Details on how to donate are shown below.  An interview with Darren Kelly about ‘Boost the Boro’ fund can be seen on the following link:
