Boro's reserve side play in the Humber Premier League division one, and were formed in 2008. During their first and second seasons they played at Hutton Cranswick's Rotsea Lane ground - utilising a mix of the best young players from the York and Hull areas.
For season 2010-11 the side returned to the Borough of Scarborough, playing their matches at the Filey Community Sports Ground on Scarborough Road. Local league boss Steve Brennan, a previous sponsor of SAFC, was installed as manager, with Gary Simms as his assistant.
Between them they have created a competitive side filled with local youngsters from Scarborough and Bridlington, helping the club gain a foothold in both it's local community and an interest in local players - something that had been lacking during the reserves first two seasons.
The side play matches at Filey on Saturday afternoons at 2pm.
