Squad Profiles

Son of Brian and former striker whose former clubs include North Ferriby (3 spells), Hull City, Doncaster, Halifax, Boston and both Brid Town and Brid Trinity. Was in Ferriby's squad for the FA Vase Final at Wembley in 1997 and scored two goals in the 3-1 aggregate win over Guisborough in the semi-final. Took charge of Boro's first ever league game whilst Brian was on holiday. However, Darren missed the entirety of the 09-10 season after contracting a rare form of bone cancer which resulted in chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Although he has not been involved actively with the club for over a year, his position as assistant manager has been left open for him to hopefully return to soon.
