About Joint Ownerships
Anyone aged 16 or over is eligible to become a full member of the Scarborough Athletic FC Society Ltd - the entity which governs and owns the football club.
By becoming a member you will be issued with a £1 share in the Industrial & Provident Society known as Scarborough Athletic FC Society Ltd.
An IPS is a special type of company that is regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Members of an IPS are protected from any liabilities that the Society may incur - your liability only extends to the £1 share that you own.

Types of memberships
PERSONAL BRONZE (£15 per year)
Our basic personal membership type is Bronze. This costs only £15 per year, and gives you full membership of the Society. You will be the owner of one share, and will also be entitled to one vote at General Meetings, and also in board elections. In addition membership entitles you to stand for election to the board.
PERSONAL BRONZE PLUS (£5 per month)
A new membership for 2011, as voted for at an SGM in early 2011. This membership allows people to pay more than the £12 per year, but less than £12 per month if it can be afforded.
PERSONAL SILVER AND GOLD - £12 or £25 a month
Silver and Gold members have exactly the same share ownership and voting rights as regular bronze members, but also have the benefit of knowing that they are contributing more to the financial well-being of the club. Silver membership costs £12 per month and Gold membership costs £25 per month. You can either pay this as one lump sum each year, or set up a standing order to ensure we get the money each month.
JUNIOR - £5 per year
If you are under 16 years old, or want to purchase a membership for your son or daughter, nephew or niece, or a newborn Boro fan, a Junior membership available for just £5 per year. This membership does not give any voting rights at elections or AGMs, but junior members will receive a badge and certificate.
CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP - £150 per year
Any corporate body is eligible to become a full member of the Society. By becoming a member, your company will be assigned a £1 share in the Industrial & Provident Society known as Scarborough Athletic FC Society Ltd.
As well as your company becoming the owner of one share, it will also be entitled to one vote at General Meetings, and also in board elections.
We will ask you to supply us with a suitable company logo which will be included in the cycling list of our corporate members on the club website. The site is viewed by thousands of football fans every month giving your company name and logo wide exposure amongst the fans of Scarborough Athletic. If you have a website, we will also include a link to your company's site from our list of Corporate Owners page.
You can become a Corporate Owner for £150 per annum.
