Queensgate opener

Brian France's side will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of dropping out of the Wilkinson Sword Trophy against Rainworth on Tuesday night, but remain buoyed from last Saturday's 4-1 success at Leeds Met Carnegie.

France will be without injured striker Joe Lightowler but could be boosted by the return of key midfielder Dave Thompson (dead leg) and goalkeeper Dave Bramley (illness).

Like Boro, Barton have a 50-50 record so far this campaign.

With a large crowd expected for Boro's first league game on the coast, fans are advised to arrive at Queensgate earlier than normal, with admission priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions. James Hunter's new look matchday magazine is also on sale in the ground priced at £1.50.

Boro from: Powley, Bramley, Ellwood, Evans, Kennett, Davies, S Phillips, D Phillips, Griffin, Widdowson, Hogg, Ferrey, Thompson, Smethhurst, Cappleman, Reveley, Bell.
