Scarborough Athletic boss Jono Greening is closing his net on targets with the new Northern Premier League season just around the corner.
The new Boro chief has used a mixture of current Boro players and trialists in the pre-season outings to date, but he has urged fans to be patient as he begins to pluck his irons from the fire.
"Me and Ingy (Michael Ingham) are working very hard behind the scenes," he said: "We are speaking to a lot of players and we know exactly what we want; we need to get a centre forward, a midfielder, a centre-back and a goalkeeper in as soon as possible.
"At the moment a lot of players are trying to get themselves in at clubs higher up the football pyramid, which is fair enough.
"It is just a case of being patient. I hope the fans see that because we are doing everything we can to make a team that will do well in this league."
