Boro Announce Sportsperson's Dinner

Scarborough Athletic are holding a sportspersons' dinner in March featuring Neil Warnock as the guest of honour.

Warnock took Scarborough FC into the Football League in the 1986-87 campaign and went on to manage in the Premier League with Sheffield United and Cardiff City.
 
He will be joined on the night by a number of players from his successful Boro squads of the 1980s. They are also hoping to make it to Boro's home game against Gainsborough on the same day.
 
The event will be held at Scarborough Rugby Club on Saturday March 28, kicking off at 7.30pm. It will be part of a fundraising drive for our community football club. A limited amount of tickets are available at £39.50 per person.
 
Commercial director Sarah Dowey said: "We are delighted to be able to welcome Neil and the players for what will be a great night. I want to thank Mitch Cook and Dave Marsden, who have been vital in putting the event together. We would also like to thank Scarborough Rugby Club for hosting the event".
