North Yorkshire Law, based across North Yorkshire in York, Scarborough and Whitby specialise in Conveyancing, Family Law, Business, Litigation, Wills, Probate and Power of Attorney.

Scarborough Athletic have been working closely with North Yorkshire Law over recent months in developing the Charitable Foundation. This forms a charitable arm of the club as part of the Core Offer to the Community. Led by Community Director, Steve Machen the Charitable Foundation will open up a range of opportunities that can be sustainable and separate from the day-to-day running of the club. Within the Core Offer, the intentions are to branch out into the community further, delivering beneficial projects in schools, improving health and wellbeing and developing the opportunities to enjoy football for everyone.

Support and expertise from North Yorkshire Law in developing the Charitable Foundation, has provided a benefit to the local community in the longer-term by delivery of such projects.

Natalie Foster, Partner at North Yorkshire Law said "Having seen the growth in support of SAFC from the local town, it is our absolute pleasure to offer our legal expertise in contributing to their community projects"

North Yorkshire Law have recently agreed to fund the cost of first aid kits for the Scarborough Athletic FC junior sides from Under 7's to Under 16's. The equipment needed some updating and North Yorkshire Law have helped to ensure that in the event of an accident, the coaches are prepared with adequate supplies.

We also look forward to developing our link with North Yorkshire Law in the near future, offering supporters the opportunity to leave a legacy or donation in their Will. Further information on this will be available in the New Year. In the meantime, North Yorkshire Law can be contacted at their Scarborough offices on 01723 360001. The Scarborough HQ is town based at 50 Albemarle Crescent, open 9-5, Monday-Friday. All enquiries can be handled remotely too at [email protected] .

We would like to thank North Yorkshire Law for their continued support of our club, which in the long-term will also benefit the local community via the fruition of a number of community projects.
