Important Information: Scarborough Athletic v Stafford Rangers

Non League Day brings a busy weekend of football action at Scarborough this coming weekend.

We kick off the weekend with the Scarborough Athletic FC Society AGM for member shareholders only at the Flamingo Land Stadium Clubhouse at 7.45pm on Friday 11th October. Doors open at 7.30pm for members only. No new members can be processed on the night.

Following the AGM around 8.30pm, there will be a Fan’s Forum open to all supporters and stakeholders.

On Saturday 12th October, we open the club’s official new shop at OneStop on Huntriss Row, with the official opening taking place at 11am. OneStop will act as the club’s new shop for replica shirts and leisurewear, open from 7am-11pm, 7 days a week. We would like to thank the Wilson family and OneStop for bringing this opportunity to fruition. OneStop will be joining us all for kick off alongside CU Scarborough for an enjoyable afternoon of football.

Alongside our sponsors, we also welcome some of our heroes from the Wembley years of the 1970’s. A number of former players will be making the effort to come to the game on Saturday while we unveil the Tony Aveyard memorial plaque at the Flamingo Land Stadium after it was rescued from the Athletic Ground in 2007. Tony sadly died in 1977 following a head injury whilst playing for Scarborough. His legacy lives on and the plaque will form only the second part of the Athletic Ground to be rescued and brought to the Flamingo Land Stadium.
