Match Day Preview: Basford United
Boro host league rivals Basford United on Tuesday night under the lights at the Flamingo Land Stadium, 7.45pm kick off.
This will a busy night off the pitch as we have been contacted by the FA Premier League who want to send a film crew along to film the game and carry out interviews as part of a documentary about the Football Stadia Improvement Fund. You will recall that this is the organisation that is funded by the Premier League and not only assisted with the funding for the building of the Sports Village and Stadium but also contributed 50% of the funding for our new stand. This will be good exposure for both ourselves and the town of Scarborough.
Boro will be assessing the injury to Jack Johnson who was stretchered off late midway through Saturday’s game. Boro look set to be without Chris Howarth, T’nique Fishley, Jordan Deacey and Harry Coates for Tuesday’s game. Dom Roma is ineligible to play against his parent club.
