Match Day Information- Saturday 17th August, ‘Boro v Buxton
Saturday is the first game of a brand new and exciting season, which includes a number of changes to our match day, in particular a brand new stand has been erected over the summer and will be available for use for the first time when we host Buxton at the Flamingo Land Stadium, 3pm kick off.
Alcoholic drinks bought inside the ground from the Bar can be consumed anywhere inside the Ground following a change over the summer.
Pre-paid season tickets that have yet to be collected will be available to collect prior to kick off from outside the clubhouse entrance on Ashburn Road.
Adverset Stand/ Seating Arrangements
Families who wish to be seated in the new Everyone Active Family Section must enter the Ground via a designated turnstile (turnstile 7) at the “Boro Gates” end where a seated ticket will be available on a first come, first served basis to sit in the new Everyone Active Family Section. A family is deemed as an adult with a youth or child.
Seating in the “S” and “C” sections of the new Adverset Stand will be available on a first come, first served basis. Season Tickets are located in the “A” and “F” part of the new Adverset Stand, which will be labelled or reserved. Any unlabelled and open seating, will be available in the new Adverset Stand on a first come, first served basis. Volunteer customer care stewards will be on hand to assist in the new Adverset Stand. Entry to be the seated new Adverset Stand will be via steps at the rear of the new stand. No standing is permitted in front of the seated or terraced walkway areas. All seats in the Main (West) Stand are occupied by season ticket holders or reserved for match day ticketing.
The new Wheelchair spaces, sponsored by St Cecilia’s Care Group, will be opened at 2.30pm, followed by the official opening of the new Adverset Stand at 2.45pm before kicking off the 2019/20 season at 3pm. It would be great to see the new Adverset Stand full at 2.45pm.
Admission (Pay on the gate):
- £12 ADULTS (Adults are those aged 17 to 64)
- £7 CONCESSIONS (Concessions are those aged 65+; students holding a valid photographic university ID card or valid ISIC card (not NUS card) with expiry date; Armed Forces Servicemen and Veterans on production of their Armed Forces ID card)
- £5 YOUTHS (Aged 12-17 years inclusive)
- FREE – Kids aged 11 and under when accompanied by a paying adult/over 65 as sponsored by UPM Raflatac; personal assistants supporting a person with a disability requiring a carer.
Entry is via the “Swimming Pool End” and “Boro Gates End” for general admission/season tickets. Families wishing to be seated in the Everyone Active Family Section should enter via the “Boro Gates End” to collect numbered seated tickets (subject to availability). Turnstiles open from 1.30pm.
The Flamingo Land Stadium boasts a large clubhouse at the top of the main stand, including a bar, club shop and sponsor facilities.
Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the facility except assistance dogs. There are 12 wheelchair spaces in the West (Main) Stand. Disabled supporters are recommended to contact the club directly to avoid disappointment.
Saturday also sees the new SeaPups shop located in the Swimming Pool End programme hut, with a range of sweets and drinks available during the match day.
Boro are sweating on the fitness of one player. Meanwhile, Luke Lofts will be watching from the sidelines with a hand injury. Otherwise, Boro look to be at full strength.
DIRECTIONS TO THE FLAMINGO LAND STADIUM
FROM THE WEST: Follow A64 into Scarborough passing the Park & Ride, LIDL and PEUGEOT Garage coming to a set of traffic lights. At the lights turn right onto Valley Road, continue straight on at the roundabout and take the next right onto Ashburn Road. Continue straight on and the stadium is at the end of the road past the UTC and Coventry University, including one coach parking space at the end of the road.
There are 250 free car parking spaces at the Sports Village.
The Sports Village is signposted en-route from all directions into the town.
