Boro Announce New Kit Agreement

Scarborough Athletic FC are delighted to announce a new three-year agreement with kit suppliers Macron from season 2019 - 2020.

The link-up continues a long-term relationship which has spanned a number of seasons, working closely with Macronstore, Wakefield.

Scarborough Athletic Commercial Director, Nick Finch stated: “We have explored a number of kit suppliers following large interest in supplying Scarborough Athletic FC, given the size of our fanbase and number of youth sides”.

“We feel that Macron not only have been loyal to us over the past seven seasons, but fundamentally meet our retailing needs that other suppliers are unable to compete with, including being solution-driven and offering support to our club”.

"The agreement will benefit the first team through to the juniors. We very much look forward to continuing our partnership over the coming seasons."

MacronStore, Wakefield’s Partner, Andrew McNeil said “We are excited to release the new kits for 2019/20 together with an exciting new fans retail range of garments. Supporters will again have a wide choice of garments to wear on match day, from replica shirts to casual garments for all the family. During our long term partnership we have seen the club grow and develop in every department and we are proud to maintain the club in our brand. The new 2019-2020 range will see the ‘Hero’ arrive in Scarborough, with our all new branding across the entire range. Having attended previous kit launch events the feedback has always been very positive and it is warming to see the passion of the fans for Scarborough Athletic and now in Macron.”

The new 2019/20 shirts will be donned for the first time in public on Saturday July 6th, decorating both the Scarborough Athletic Under-19 and First Team squads. New leisurewear will also be available for exclusive showing and the club will also welcome the sponsors of the new kits for 2019/20.

The Kit Launch kicks off at 2.15pm at the Flamingo Land Stadium, preceded by a First Team Open Training Session from 11am and activities taking place on the pitch and around the Ground from 12.30pm.

The Kit Launch will be followed by a Legends fixture, which will get underway at 3pm.

Entry throughout the day is free, however donations towards the New Stand Appeal and the Scarborough Hospital Diabetes Department will be gratefully accepted.

Following the game, there will be a meet and greet with the legends in the clubhouse, as well as a raffle.

A legends after-party will take place at Scholars Bar throughout the evening.
