Our on-line Crowdfunding campaign has come to an end with the total at £10,100. With donations of £5,873 received on match days our overall Stand Together Appeal Fund total is £15,973, which is 53% of our £30,000 target. We would like to thank all of our supporters for such a fantastic achievement in the six weeks since we started raising funds for our pre-construction costs.
The appeal will continue to run for the rest of the season with the totaliser in the clubhouse bar showing our progress, as well as the usual social media updates. You will still be able to donate on match days via the donation slot on the totaliser or by handing your donation to a club official. Other fund raising events are being organised by the club and supporters, including a sportsman’s dinner and a charity football match. Sponsorship for Dave Hunter’s walk to Whitby on New Year’s Day is going well at over £1,100, but please continue to give him your support.
Our development proposal goes before the Scarborough Borough Council Planning and Development Committee on Thursday 6th December at 1:00 pm. Our application is first-up and you can watch this meeting live via the following link:
Many thanks for all your support so far, both financial and also the fantastic comments made by so many fans on the council's planning portal.
Together we will make this happen.
