Winfarrah and Ferguson join Boro

Ahead of the home game against Mossley this Saturday, Boro have signed winger Caine Winfarrah and midfielder Lewis Ferguson.

Winfarrah, 19, returns to the club after joining on a one-month loan deal during last season from Grimsby Town.

In July 2015 Caine was released by the Mariners, joining NCEL Premier Division side Cleethorpes Town at the beginning of this season. He has made 10 appearances so far for The Owls this season before joining Boro.

Lewis Ferguson, also aged 19-years-old, has been a member of Rovers youth academy since 2007. He signed a professional contract back in May 2014, appearing in the first team squad several times last season as well as in the Doncaster Rovers Academy.

Both players are available for selection for the league game against Mossley this Saturday.
