New reserve team manager revealed?
Reid will take charge of the side at the end of the month after the players report back for pre-season training on June 24th. He has vast knowledge of football in the York and Leeds areas, and will bring valuable experience to the club.
The reserve side will also play some pre-season games, before taking its place in the Humber Premier League following their AGM, playing home matches at Hutton Cranswick. A backroom team will now be sourced and players approached to man the new squad.
Boro Football Director Tony Brown said: "Jimmy is a great acquistition for us and he will work alongside Brian and Darren France to provide a step up to the first team.
"His experience is second to none at our level and he will bring us a further catchment area for talent - combining Scarborough and Hull with the York and Leeds areas which Jimmy knows well.
"This also shows the club's future ambition to be successful and provide the best coaching, at the highest possible level for the area's best young footballers."« Back to news
