Supporters? Game team draw?.

The draw for the two squads for the 2008 first annual Scarborough Athletic FC Supporters' Game was made in the social club at Queensgate following the game against Dinnington.

Chairman Simon Cope and manager Brian France picked the sides at random, with France picking his own son and assistant manager Darren for the Blue team. Coach Derek Exley will line up on the opposite red team, alongside ex Boro player Steve French and Boro website manager Steve Smith. Supporters club chairman Craig Patton also features in red, whilst Scarborough Evening News reporters Pete Spence and Martin Dowey join forces on the blue side.

34 players are set to feature in the game, which will take place under floodlights at Queensgate after Boro vs Staveley on April 26, with kick-off at 6.30pm.

All Boro fans are welcome to watch the game free of charge, and an eight page programme is being produced for sale at 50p.

Sponsors of the match include the SAFC Supporters Club, Sports Credos, Boudoir Lounge Bar and the Castle Tavern pub.
